BRC Global Standard for Storage & Distribution of Packaging Materials

The British Retail Consortium (BRC) Global Standard for Storage & Distribution of packaging materials, is an internationally recognised standard which provides certification that can be accepted by customers in place of their own audits. This comprehensive scope covers quality, hygiene, & product safety which provides a benchmark for best practice in all aspects of the management of businesses registered & approved to hold the Standard.

The Standard requires the ongoing development of a documented quality management system which provides the framework to enable the management policies & results of risk assessments to be implemented consistently, along with regular audits designed to promote continual improvement. European Packaging Distributors are pleased to announce to all customers and suppliers that we have recently been audited and subsequently certificated by ISOQAR Ltd to this standard.

This new certification, in conjunction with our existing ISO 9001:2008 certification, gives further reassurance to all customers that European Packaging Distributors continue to strive to improve the professionalism of its day-to-day operation, paying particular attention in this instance, to the demands of the food industry.
